WZCC Bangalore held an event on the 12th of February 2017 titled – IGNITE the MIND.

The purpose of this event was to encourage the youth of today to venture out from their comfort zone and look at the various opportunities that entrepreneurship offers.  We had a fair number of youngsters attend the talk.
The panel of speakers comprised:
1. Mr Edul Patel – A BTech + MTech from IIT Bombay in Material Sciences. In 2013 with a few friends developed an e-app for customers to connect to retail stores. Got funding of US$ 1 million and then had his company acquired by Tapzo where he is working today. He is all of 26 years old.
2. Mr Ferzaan Engineer – Was responsible for setting up and heading a Global company called Quintiles with a staff of 8000 employees and operation in Pacific Asia and China.
Moved to Bangalore 14 years ago and set up Nightingales Healthcare and very recently a state of the art speciality  Cancer hospital called Cytecare.
3. Mr Zarir Sholapurwalla –  A BTech from IIT Bombay and MTech from Los Almos Started his company Zeonics in 1981 and is a supplier of Nuclear systems to the Government of India and Atomic Energy commission. Recipient of several awards including one from the President of India.
Each speaker narrated their story, trials and tribulations faced and the determination that kept them going on to fulfil their goals.
At the end of it, there was a question and answer session where the audience had several interesting questions to ask.
 After an interesting two hours, everyone enjoyed a Dhansak & Kavab lunch.
