WZCC is delighted to announce the return of Kris Wadia, co-presenting with Perses Sethna, for an intellectually stimulating session on ‘re-imagining your career’. They will take lessons learned from creating and promoting products and help you apply them to positioning and advancing your career.
Perses Sethna has, in his 35 year career at BT, led teams responsible for creating Communication Technology products that have been critical to the success of many diverse industries ranging from oil exploration to finance and defence. He will distil his considerable experience into the 5 Key Levers you need to know for Promoting the Perfect Product.
Kris Wadia will then ask you to imagine yourself as the product and apply Perses’ rules to the art and science of managing your own career, whether as a school-leaver, contractor, interim or employee. Kris will draw on his senior roles at Accenture and Quintiles and as a self-employed businessman.
You will learn the answers to:
- What is the core Value Proposition that connects you at an emotional level with recruiters?
- Who is your best hidden friend when furthering your career aspirations?
- Which 3 golden rules does everyone follow … but you must avoid at all costs?
- Why your Social Media profile could be ruining your chances of success daily?
- When should you time your Career move or push for a new contractor role?
- Where should you look for inspiration and insights that your ‘competitors’ won’t know about?
- How important, really, is your LinkedIn profile?
This session is not about “how to write a CV” or “how to perform at a job interview”. It is designed to challenge your current perceptions of yourself and your career needs.

19:15 – 20:00hrs Question and Answer session

Cost: £5 or free to those in full-time education or unwaged

Perses and Kris have kindly offered to relocate to The Fine Line, 1 Bow Churchyard, London EC4M 9DQ, a venue near the Penningtons Manches office, after 20:00hrs to help those attendees whose questions were not addressed during the Q&A session. Free feel to join them.
