Why is the MOU between two Chambers vital? How will it benefit the members of both Chambers? – Chambers of Commerce are absolutely relevant in modern business despite the existence of internet & networking groups. Chambers have to continue to evolve and offer their members more pertinent services. Networking is just one facet of what a Chamber does. A Chamber can identify what it truly brings to its members and help them communicate the needs of business in their Region. Now, by this MOU it helps members to communicate with members from other regions for the mutual benefit of all. The combined services which includes skills & experience will give an advantage to both the Chambers. Valuable information can be obtained free of cost at the same time increase their business activities with the help of shared suggestions.
We are going to move step by step with GCCI. First they will give us their contacts of various business activities they are engaged in. We will in turn give them details of our members who are interested in similar businesses. The prospects are un- limited.
As a next step we will invite members of both Chambers to interact and discuss their businesses. This is a pilot project.
The occasion of signing the MOU turned out to be memorable, one coupled with success and a high degree of optimism.
