• An Introduction to Entrepreneurship

    Dear Member/Patron, The WZCC Toronto Chapter hosts “An Introduction to Entrepreneurship” designed for our youth. Want your children to have terrific career and entrepreneurial opportunities? Arming them right from their formative years will go a long way in building up their abilities to shine tomorrow. We have a series of workshops and sessions designed for our youth from ages, 7 to 11 and from 11 to 15 with creative, hands on, enrichment workshops designed to get them leading in the future. We start with our two sessions, with an introduction to entrepreneurship on Saturday mornings, 24th and 31st October, 2020, from 11:30am each for one hour. Do register here for both days.

Delnaz has achieved excellence not only in the insurance, banking and social service sector, but has also made a name for herself in the world of fashion and modelling. She started her career with the British Consulate as Visa Support Executive. After two years, Delnaz joined J P Morgan and later moved into the insurance sector and was associated with reputed companies like Religare, Reliance and Kotak. She has been associated with several NGOs like Save the Child, Sopan, Green Peace, WWF and Habitat for Humanity. Neha is a pathologist by profession, working as Chief of Lab and Consultant Pathologist in Dr Lal Path Labs, Sehgal Neo Hospital, New Delhi. She completed her MBBS from Pravara Institute of Medical Sciences, Loni, Maharashtra and specialized in MD Pathology from the Himalayan Institute of Medical Sciences, Dehradun where she topped the University. Neha is a well-known speaker in medical conferences with more than 10 research publications to her name. Neha is also a social activist associated with Go Green Project, NGO Chotti Chotti Khushiyan (for abandoned girls) and Sai Vridhashram. The fee for participation inclusive of tea and snacks is Rs 350 /- for WZCC/WE Members and Rs. 400 /- for Non-Members.   • NETWORKING SESSION Sunday, 31st Mar. 2019

    OBJECTIVE : Goal Setting through the game of football. Mixed teams of 17 players. First game played with goal posts; second with posts Debrief : Can we play football without goal posts ? So then how can we go through life without goals ? Session two on Goal Setting : Interactive, participants fifilled in goal sheets and became conscious of the need for written goals. Members shared their long-term dn short-term goals. Wrap-up : Goal Setting is an important aspect for a professional/entrepreneur. Additionally : Ruby Kamdin made a presentation on her NGO – One Billion Literates. : Kashmira Bose displayed and sold her products of eco-friendly bags. A very enterprising morning
